Clean bathing water and high bathing safety
The beach at Henne Strand is subject to Badepunkt, which is a labeling scheme for bathing places with clean bathing water, high bathing safety, basic infrastructure and with the possibility of special outdoor, nature or cultural experiences. Badepunkt is a Nordic labeling scheme, and is fully implemented in Denmark.
At Badepunkt there are no special rules for dogs or other pets. The general rules apply here, according to the Nature Protection Act, that dogs must be kept on a leash on beaches from April 1 to September 30.
Coastal lifeguards secure Danish beaches
We want to reduce the number of drowning accidents in Denmark, create respect for water and increase safety where people and water meet. Through TrygFonden Kystlivredning, we ensure your and other bathers' safety at 34 beaches and harbor baths throughout Denmark.
